Patients under 18 years of age who need an orthodontic intervention to improve their dental health, may be eligible for NHS funding. NHS-funded orthodontic treatment is designed to provide care to those who need it most and as such, a rating system, known as the Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need (IOTN), is used to assess the eligibility of individual cases. To find out if a patient is eligible for NHS funding, we offer free assessments to anyone aged under 18 within our complimentary clinic. During the initial assessment our Specialist Orthodontist will discuss with you all the treatment options available and answer any questions you may have.
We would need a referral from your dentist to register you in our system, as well as your NHS medical number to proceed with treatment funded by NHS England.
If you don’t qualify for NHS treatment, we will discuss with you private treatment options, all of which offer interest-free finance options. Private treatments can include Damon metal (or clear) brackets, removable clear Invisalign aligners, lingual (hidden) braces as well as a range of interceptive treatment options to correct your bite. There is no waiting list to start private treatment.
